Firm advises on € 229 million desalination agreement

Adamos K. Adamides & Co has advised the consortium MN Limassol Water Co. (consisting of the Israeli company Mekorot Development and Enterprise Ltd and the Cypriot company Netcom Limited of the Logicom Group) on a € 229 million agreement for the construction of the Limassol Desalination Plant in Episkopi. The contract was awarded to the consortium following a public procurement competition and successful proceedings before the Tenders Review Authority.

The plant will provide 40.000 cubic metres of desalinated water per day with provision to expand to 60.000 cubic metres per day. The agreement was signed on August 7, 2009.
